Default image batch upload and resize in Media Manager?

Hi,

I've a client who would like to periodically upload a bunch of images for use in various content items. Is there a way that images can be batch uploaded, and preferably resized, for use in the Media Manager?

Perhaps one way would be to hack a gallery component (e.g. Ako, RS, etc.) which already has the batch/resize functionality, to make its images available to Media Manager.

Or is there an easier way? Am I missing something obvious?

MGM definately has a zip file upload and decompress function and uses MM but you would have to check it out I think it's on MamboForge.... Sorry to be so vague

I think MGM stands for: Mambo Gallery Management.
