Search Query Problem

When users search for content within my site, they are met with the appropriate query. However, when a selection is made, the page loads with this message:

"You are not authorized to view this resource.
You need to login."

(Side note, ALSO: I wasn't able to turn on the SEF urls because they (also) wouldn't load pages properly--so please bear with these intense urls.)

When searching for (example) "NetQ" (one of our products), this happens:
Search query routes to: .com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=93
Actual page is on:
.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=93&Itemi d=27

So, essentially, the search isn't loading the "&Itemid=27" into the url. Any ideas how to remedy this problem?
