Default Site offline... Help!

Hey there everybody,
Hope someone here can help us -

A friends site went completelly offline www.gedhjalp.is ( The page cannot be displayed message )

But if I lookup the Admin loginpage www.mysite.com/administrator we get this error :

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/includes/version.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /srv/vefir/fyrirt/gedhjalp.is/www/includes/mambo.php on line 41

Anyone here with enough php knowledge that could point us in the right direction ? - any help greatly appreciated. I've posted elswhere with no avail.
..and yes - this is mambo -

Many thanks - take care everybody
