Default Mambo install problem or host problem?

Hi. I recently installed mambo 4.5.1a via Fantastico for a new site I'm starting. The site is located in a sub-domain of the main url of my hosting account (i.e. mambo.mainurl.com but is stored as www.mainurl.com/mambo on the server) and there is an add-on domain pointing to the sub-domain (i.e. www.something.com goes to mambo.mainurl.com).

My problem is that none of the template images appear on my new site. I have one other mambo installation on my account that isn't tied to an add-on domain or sub-domain (www.mainurl.com/folder) and it works wonderfully.

I've been going over this with tech support for the last 2 days with no solution. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the Mambo installation, configuration or with my host? Can anyone help.

www.fearpc.com is the mambo install in question.

Thanks in advance.

www.avispot.com is my main domain.

The mambo site for fearpc.com is on a subdomain of avispot.com. I hope that clears things up a bit even though I'm still confused.

Yeah. Its very confusing.

I'm kind of new to mambo but I think that the header image isn't in the template directory (I think?). The images that aren't showing are in the template directory. I think? There are also no images in the admin backend. I thought it was a path problem but if it was then how are the pages even being displayed?

Thanks for your help Ghost.

The problem seems to have fixed itself overnight making this situation even more strange then it was at first. The domain is fairly new. Could it have been a progagation issue? But then why was the domain even going to the site? Ahh forget it. Its fixed, I'm happy.

Yes, I have had the same thing happen. Very weird, but happy to have it work. This happen in the new 5.1b, 5.1a, and 5.09. I know it is a subdomain issue and have seen mambots to correct the problem. The problem being you can't install them. Anyway, it's weird.
