Default AkoComment Components -> post new comment box visible under news

Hi!

I recently installed AkoComment so that Users can post comments under my news.
Now the Comments appear directly at the bottom of each news including the post new comments box. That leads to news becoming unclearly.
What I want is just a comment link under each news which leads to a new comment page.

Is it possible to configure AkoComment this way? Or do I have to hack the Commentsbot? If thats the case has anybody an idea how to hack it?

I would be happy about an answer. Thx!

I've never used AkoComments and I don't quite understand what you are saying, but the author's site is mamboportal.com. Is that how you want your comments to work?

So, you want the content sections to look like the front page does, with the comments being behind a "Comments on this News" link instead of being listed directly below the news?

Yea.. This is quite annoying because if you have comments then it'll be like a long long page man.. Do any one have a solution out there to help out with this problem?

Has anyone been able to solve this problem? I like my site to be compact and use akocomments but it leaves a huge space after the article. I tried editing the componnent but have no idea where to edit. Howeve I was able to edit the eng language file but that only control variables.

Can someone help?

nm. I see I can edit the file at <mambosite>/mambot/ akocommentbot.php. wonder if I should reedit the files that I edited in the component directory of akocomments... though editing it produced no results anyway...
