Default CSS for current menu item?

Hi,

here is what I want to do and cannot figure out. Searched the forums as well and couldn't find what I wanted.

I want to build a top menu which should be horizontal. Let's say it has these menu items.

- home
- news
- faq
- contact

Now, what I want this that when I click on "news" for example the "news" menu item shows in a different way (is emphasized if You could say so). I have seen this in a few recent templates and looked at the css but since this is still a big world of wonders to me, I couldn't figure out how to do this in my own temlpate.

I would really appreciate any hint..

Regards
