Events Component -> Unable to edit/selected created Category

There is a problem on the events module with version 4.5 1.0.7? I installed all the modules and components (3 all togheter), when I want to create a events category, I can but then I cannot select ii?

You cannot select the category from where? Admin...or from the front page? If it shows up in admin, but not on the frontpage...it probably needs to be published in admin first. In admin, from the "Manage Events Categories" menu, there should be a green check mark under the "published" column. If it is a red "X", click on it to change it to a check mark. Then the category should be accessible from the drop down list on the front page.

I'm accesing from the admin area... I can create the category but then I can not edited or either publish??

After you create the category...is it not shown in a list of categories? Be as descriptive and detailed with your answers as possible, please.

Sorry... Once I'm on the Admin area, I select Components > Events > Manage Events Categories. At this point I create a new Category, the new category appear on the list but there isn't possibility to tick the box, no box at all???

Does your admin page: Components > Events > Manage Events Categories look like this?:

I checked but no items appears.Do I have to change some chmod? Or can you explain me what I have to do after or before to install the Events module and components...

Yes, same window but on publish there is a red X, and next to the title of my category there isn't any box that I can tick....

Two ways to publish:

1) Hold your mouse ove the red X...(it will turn into a pointing hand)...click.
2) Tick the box to the left of the category and select "pubish" at the top of the page.
