Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
Hello,
I'm trying to get the gallery-component working but I keep getting the "must be a fullpath server" fault.
If I'm correct the path for gallery is "/var/www/vhosts/hierbenikthuis.nl/subdomains/foto/httpdocs/" but the component won't except this. I'm running Mambo 4.5.2 en gallery 2.0 RC1. (Plesk controlled)
What am I doing wrong here?

Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
I tried this multiple times and was so frustrated! I got Coppermine integration component from http://www.joombla.com and it works great. Beware of this integration, if you don't know lots of php.

Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
Well, I installed zOOm-gallery and it fits my needs, although it is not as "slick" as gallery...

Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
I've done all the instructions, but at the very end, I can't seem to get it to work. I know my directories are right, but this is the error message I am getting whenever I try and connect to the new 'component' item I added to my Main Menu:
Not Found
The requested URL /main.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Any ideas why it would do this?

===== Complete Rewrite =====
I completely rewrote the How-To. Posts before this point should be ignored as they have nothing to do with this new (and easier) How-To.
Many thanks to the developers of Menalto's Gallery. They did a wonderful job since v1.4.1! Gallery1 is a LOT easier to integrate now into Joomla and Mambo. Thank you so much! I hope you will find the same easy and flawless integration as I have done (many times now)! Please leave your findings below, also successful integration's please including a url to your website for us to view!
Cheers,
denniz

Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
This thread has been viewed many times now (nearly 50.000 !!!). I guess the how-to is correct, given that no questions have been asked here for 3 1/2 months now...
Just remember to follow the steps one by one, it will take a bit of time to work through but worth the result in the end.
If you have found this HOW-TO useful, please leave your website's URL so we can see your result.

Re: How-To integrate Gallery into Mambo
A good 9 months later, and still NO other comments/questions have been posted. Taken into account that this still shows up on the first page in Google when searching for: integrate gallery into joomla, I take it this How-To is still regularly read.
So, in case you have any questions: please ask. As Gallery 1.6 alpha has been recently released, I will attempt to integrate this into Joomla as well.
Will let you know if I run into any problems.
